Ashley

The imminent release of his first book had my friend Ashley in need of a headshot for some publicity stuff. I had no experience in taking portraits at the time and he had a strong vision of the look he was after, so it was a bold move asking me to help! It’s a dark novel so he wanted a similar feel to the photos. A quick Google search for some top tips and a request to some friends with a dis-used barn and old pool, and we were ready to have a go. His desire to nail a good shot meant Ashley really leant into the shoot and was very relaxed in front of the camera. The results? Well I was rather pleased. More importantly so was Ashley.
