Sam’s practice focuses on human and planetary health, specifically how modern life impacts our physical and mental health.

Her work employs digital and analogue photography, together with her own medical imagery. Just as chance plays a part in our health, Sam also experiments with introducing an element of unpredictability into the work.

Sam recently completed her MA in Photography at Falmouth University, gaining a Distinction.

She is a member of Biscuit Books, a community publishing press initiated in 2023 by Falmouth University MA Photography alumni. Biscuit Books mission is to support self-published and collaborative projects within the network, fostering creativity and connection through printed photographic works.
