Sam’s practice focuses on human and planetary health, specifically how modern life impacts our physical and mental health.
Her work employs digital and analogue photography, together with her own medical imagery. Just as chance plays a part in our health, Sam also experiments with introducing an element of unpredictability into the work.
Sam completed her MA in Photography at Falmouth University in 2023, gaining a Distinction. She has recently returned to Falmouth as a postgraduate researcher, exploring the link between human and planetary health, and whether images can help drive the transformational social change required to address the climate crisis.
